At
home I use 2 tuners, a Sony ST-SE570 Tuner FM/AM (Hi-Fi
Seperate) and a Sony ST-SB920 Tuner FM/AM (Hi-Fi Seperate).
I use the ST-SE570 for general listening, and capturing
audio, at the full bandwidth (unmodified)
It has RDS features including:
EON ( Extended Other Networks ) TA/TP ( Traffic Announcement / Traffic
Programme ) RT ( Radio Text ) PTY ( Programme Type ) PI ( Programme Identification ) CT ( Clock Time and Date ) PS ( Programme Service ) It also includes a Signal Meter which measures the signal
in dB.
It displays station names in both cases and includes symbols.
When choosing a preset a meter will be displayed next to
the preset displaying how good the signal is.
Pressing DISPLAY will bring up the following:
